The Postural Analyser 3.0 consists of an adjustable standing platform, two parallel vertical rods with measurement scales and an overhead mirror assembly with midline and plumb line.
A set of three horizontal and three vertical guidelines is available (accessory code AC1306). These elastic guidelines are fully adjustable in height and width respectively, by sliding cursors mounted discreetly inside the vertical rods. The central vertical plumb line is the first and most important reference when assessing a patient’s posture. Most commonly it is aligned with the medial malleoli so that it divides the body in two distinct halves. The horizontal and vertical guidelines accessory set simplify the search for asymmetries and deviations during quick patient observation.
With the patient positioned on the Postural Analyser assessment in the frontal and sagittal planes is possible. The overhead mirror provides the possibility to make an assessment of posture in the transverse plane, e.g. shoulder and head position.
The Postural Analyser can be upgraded with our Foot Positioning Grid (AC1046) that can be added to the standing platform. This accessory aids the patient position themselves on the platform and assures a standardised foot position is maintained, which is important for comparison purposes.
The Postural Analyser 3.0 is part of several of our GPS Postural Lab configurations but can also be purchased separately.
It is suitable for people up to 207 cm tall and the safe working load is 180 kg.
