Description

The shower for adults is suitable for use both in care facilities and at home. It is possible to choose some options that can suit several needs of carers or family members and that fit to the user's anthropometric characteristics.  

We have taken particular care in choosing materials, components and special processes, ensuring the product is long lasting and rust-free. The shower trolley is height adjustable via electric actuator or hydraulic piston. The electric version can be adjusted using the pedal control or handset.

If needed, the length of the mattress usable space can be extended by tilting the head end rail partially and / or the foot end rail. The backrest can also be easily tilted by the carer via gas spring and ergonomic control.

The mattress is in a soft material, smooth and elastic at the touch, and makes the cleaning and disinfection operations faster and efficient. The shower trolley can be also adjusted to get a Trendelenburg position as standard feature, as well as to tilt the patient platform to drain water away.

It is fitted with swivelling bumpers integrated into the deck structure. You can choose between individually braked casters or central braking system via a pedal. In both cases there is also a “directional lock” system for easier transportation.

The model shown in picture correspond to the code LD32D2111.

 

ABOUT THE INSIDE MATTRESS

It has been recently modified to provide more comfort for the patient, thanks to a thickness for both the bottom and the arised edges. Laboratory tests have detected with the use of sensors a relevant reduction of the medium pressure and peak pressure, and a wider body surface area in contact compared to other classic mattresses.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

This helps give greater comfort to both the user and carer during washing, as it allows to change the patient's position. The backrest can be easily tilted by the carer via gas spring and ergonomic control.

LENGTH EXTENSION

The length of the mattress usable space can be extended by tilting the head end rail partially, and tilting the foot end rail as well if required. The carer can then easily lift and tilt the rail up to a 40° angle as needed.

The patient remains in a supine position inside the mattress. The patient's head can be lifted using a special cushion, which is an accessory to be ordered separately.

The head end can be tilt adjusted to a 63° angle. The tilt can be locked or modified in any intermediate position. A separate accessory can also be requested to provide greater head support.

BRAKING SYSTEM

You can choose between individually braked casters or central braking system via a pedal. In both cases there is also a “directional lock” system for easier transportation on long, straight stretches.
