This equipment allows the knee and hip to be mobilized through a flexo-extension movement.
It is operated by a direct current motor controlled by a circuit board with microprocessor. On the outside, there is a fixed keypad which is used to program each function, and a floating keypad for the patient to stop and start the movement via the STOP and START keys that perform the same functions as those located on the fixed keypad.
The top part of the equipment is the area where limbs are placed on; this can be adjusted according to the limb size;
to perform an adjustment you need to know the length of the patient's limb, measured from the trochanter major to the ankle bone.
