The Extra abduction cushion is perfect for the prevention of bedsores in the lower limbs. It is placed under the patient’s thighs with a leg spread between the knees. For an easier positioning, we recommend it is used in combination with the cushions code CP1472 or CP1468, to be placed under the patient’s heels to ease the pressure.
Polyurethane fabric outer cover filled with expanded polystyrene micro-particles. Washable with soft cloth and mild detergent. In addition, almost all cushions are supplied with an extra cover made from bi-elastic polyurethane.
The Extra abduction cushion meets the positioning needs during the different phases of nursing and is designed to be suitable for the different patient morphologies during the execution of a decubitus prevention protocol.
