It's an original stabilometric footboard for balance and dynamic analysis with one built-in image acquisition device for podoscope function as well. It is therefore possible to acquire, save and compare pictures of the person under examination at different moments. The measurements can be carried out on each photo.
This stabilometric platform is featured by six load cells to allowing the patient to stand on in a free and natural positioning. In particular the GPS software makes possible to virtually position the six load cells at the pre-set points under each foot. This operation not only simplifies the preliminary steps before the test, but eliminates completely any predefined positioning of the patient as necessary for similar equipment. This movement of the load cells guarantees repeatability of the measurements, even at a later stage.
So it's detected the body weight and its distribution between the right and left feet, and then the distribution at the three reference points such as the first metatarsal, the fifth metatarsal and heel on each foot. During the examination it is also identified thecenter of gravity and its position compared to the ideal one as well as the oscillations on the different planes. It's a special feature the option to set up the duration also for dynamic tests involving the patient in biofeedback exercises.
The stabilometric test can be done under various “examination conditions”, in looking for afferents that affect the person’s postural behavior.
The goal is to give evidence of the type of foot and to keep monitored if there is a certain incorrect postural attitude or risk. All information collected by the two integrated static, stabilometric and dynamic analysis systems can be useful to define therapeutic interventions, targeted exercise programs and others corrective actions, also in an interdisciplinary collaboration between specialists.
At the end of the postural examination it's always possible to provide the patient with a report showing results, with data comparison, graphs, and pictures acquired at different moments.
In particular for all types of measurements the relative tolerance can be reported, with evidence of whether one or more data collected are out of spectrum. This type of exam is non-invasive, and can therefore be repeated whenever deemed appropriate.
The computer is not included, but it can be ordered as an accessory code 01799 with GPS software pre-installed.
