2X1 CORNER PARALLEL BARS

It’s a 4,5 meter long parallel bar system with corner for rehabilitation walking. This solution can be suitable to optimize the available space in the gym or in the rehabilitative environment.

The painted steel frame has a wear proof laminated platform and anti-slip handrails. The platform has a lower height of only 4,5 cm compared to the model code 01328. The platform also includes magnets on the surface to apply obstacle-hurdle modules, accessory code 01330.

An access ramp accessory code AC1171 can be added as an accessory and is easily applied to the end of the platform with magnets. All parts can be easily disinfected. The handrails can be manually adjusted from min. 74 to max 102 cm by using a telescopic system.

During the initial phase of defining the therapeutic rehabilitation program, the use of an antibrachial support on the parallel bars allows an evaluation of how the patient walks in a completely safe environment. It can be applied to all our parallel bars the accessory parallel bar glider code 01380.

This parallel bars system is modular, so it can be implemented later with one or more one-meter linear modules. Alternatively, other available product configurations can be chosen.

Thermoplastic modules, proprioceptive and motor training bags and different density pads can be used on the parallel bars to create a challenging training environment. The therapist can develop a variety of instability exercises.

TO CREATE INSTABILITY CONDITIONS DURING THE REHABILITATION WALKING

The therapist has a wide range of available accessories to be added to the platform of the parallel bars system in order to create a variety of instability conditions and walking exercises during the rehabilitation program.

These accessories are of three different types: 1) thermoplastic modules, 2) Sensory and motor training bags, 3) proprioceptive different density pads.

These variety of elements can also be used on the floor, out of a parallel bars system, with the therapist’s surveillance or assistance, if deemed necessary. Their reduced dimensions and weight also allow the therapist to carry them to the patient's home for domestic use and continue the rehabilitation work after sessions at the gym.

MODULARITY

It's always possible to choose a longer parallel bars system with corner as alternative or adding some one-meter linear modules to the model MP1821 later. In case of its presence, the access ramp accessory AC1171 can be easily removed without tools because it's just attached to the platform by means of a magnet system. 

Therefore, the therapist can remain focused on continuously correcting gestures, speed, angles and the kinematic mechanism while the patient walks, until the most correct motor pattern is obtained, especially in case of subjects with extremely compromised neuro-motor characteristics.
