This waterproof corset is designed for use in swimming pools or hydrotherapy baths. This harness is ideal for users with good upper body strength and reasonable weight bearing ability. It is designed to allow the user to be supported whilst transferring to the pool side as well as being lowered into the pool if the tracking permits. Once in the pool the harness gives the user the ability to stand with additional buoyancy support promoting additional confidence in aquatic therapy for the user and carer, assisting with rehabilitation within the pool environment. The hoist straps are fully detachable, allowing for freedom of movement whilst in the pool, but can be quickly attached at the end of the therapy session to assist with transfer back out of the pool. The harness is manufactured in a mesh material and has a floatation noodle to aid buoyancy in the water.
NB: This product is not a life saving piece of equipment and it should not be treated as such. It has been designed to assist with transfers into the pool and to provide support and aid buoyancy whilst in the water. The user should be accompanied at all times when using this product and never left unsupervised.
