LITE GAIT
PRESENTATION
LiteGait is a gait training device that helps reduce weight bearing on lower limbs, control posture and balance while the individual is over ground or over a treadmill.
LiteGait also eliminates concerns from balance and improves gait movement coordination. It creates the ideal conditions for treating a wide array of pathologies and working on patients with various levels of functional autonomy, in total safety.
The various LiteGait models are designed to treat all patients, from adults, including overweight, to children.

LiteGait Slings
The special harnesses allow for distributing the weight bearing load on each limb and increasing it progressively up to the maximum level. At the same time, the therapist can manually control leg and hip to establish a correct gait, without worrying about patient safety as the special harness stops them from falling. Dr. Stefano Fabbrini - Medial opinion
An early and intensive rehabilitation activity is a determining factor to limit the risk of any damages from immobility and the development of pathological patterns that often cannot be reversed. These issues impact negatively on a good outcome from treatments, on the hospitalization period, on the risk of hospitalization iatrogenesis and on costs. I believe that this rehab device allows for an early patient verticalization when they have motor instability issues, enabling them to feel their spacial movement capability again and learn from their own mistakes too, thus reducing the risk of traumatic events and stimulating patient motivation (and, let me add, the rehabilitation team’s motivation as well). In my opinion, a rehabilitation program including LG and other equipment such as a treadmill would allow for safely achieving motor performance objectives (such as speed and strength) even in fragile patients.
