STRUZZO
PRESENTATION
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS “With all the due distinctions and the necessary attention to the specificity of the individual cases, we feel that the product can target those who are affected by spinal cord disease or injury, paraplegias, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, or by muscular pathologies such as muscular dystrophy, and those who find it difficult to perform activities that require lifting such as the elderly”.
STANDING UP: The user is helped by the tray, the trunk support and the side handles throughout the standing up sequence. These aids support the patient as they stand up, making this activity much easier.
UNAIDED TRANSFERS: the aids from the STRUZZO Series enable the user to transfer quickly, without help from a carer. Once the upright position is achieved, it will be possible to perform everyday activities and move on a flat surface. It’s easy to get close enough to work tops to make use of them. Learning a technique that suits the user’s physical conditions enables them to perform a variety of tasks, reducing the need for carer involvement. MORE INFO
Easier accessibility
Access to the aid is made easier and safer by the alignment of the seat with the original seating position. When transferring from the wheelchair to the standing aid, the seat, unlike the old model, can always remain horizontal and align to the user’s seating level by adjusting the aid height.
The sliding footplates, which are independent and adjustable in depth, reduce the distance between the person in the wheelchair — or sitting — and the base of the structure. This helps transfer the user’s feet onto the standing aid. The footplates can be adjusted even when the user is on them. STRUZZO Series - Adjustments
