Ultrasound device with two independent outputs, 1 or 3 MHz operating frequency and continuous or pulsed duty cycle. It has two self-calibrating double-frequency handpieces, with a watertight 5 cm2 sound head for use in underwater therapy. A convenient encoder ensures a quick selection of the wave parameters or protocol to be delivered. A sensor allows the energy to be supplied only when there is contact with the patient, sending the operator a visual and auditory feedback. It is possible to access a 50-programme library or to create and store over 50 user protocols. Option to use different diameter heads to suit different therapeutic applications.
